AAR Groupcare/contingency/fund Management

The Company pays an annual amount of money to AAR from which an Administration Fee is deducted monthly.

The balance of the money forms Fund from which monies are drawn monthly by AAR as payment for medical services rendered to Employers Members during the membership year.

AAR will provide a monthly statement to The Company on the financial position of the Fund, or failing that time, within such reasonable time as circumstances allow. The Company shall, upon notification by AAR one (1) month in advance of the estimated exhaustion of the Fund, add the necessary estimated amount to ensure the fund is sufficient to fund membership in any membership year.

Failure by The Company to add the requested amount within 30 days of demand, shall lead to members being denied services  by providers as AAR will not be in a position to fund the costs. Any unutilized funds shall be rolled over to the next membership year or in the event of non renewal of membership, refunded back to the Company after 90 days from expiry of contract to allow for clearing of incurred but not reported claims.
