Nassuna Christine

Managing Director

Christine is an experienced insurance professional with over a decade in the industry, currently serving as the Managing Director of AAR Health Services. She joined AAR in 2009 and has held various roles within the company. Before this, she worked as an external auditor at PKF Uganda there after transitioned to The Vision Group as an internal auditor, where she garnered valuable experience in financial analysis, internal controls, governance, risk management, and compliance.

Christine holds a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from Makerere University, a prestigious Ugandan institution, and a Diploma in Insurance, gaining extensive industry knowledge. In addition, Christine is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Uganda. These qualifications highlight her extensive training and proficiency in accounting, auditing, strategic planning, and financial management.

She has been pivotal in driving the company’s vision of providing accessible and high-quality insurance services to Ugandans. Her strategic initiatives have strengthened the company’s market position and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Ssebaale Mohammed

Chief Operations Officer

Mohammed has served with AAR Health Services for over 11 years with a proven track record of enhancing operational performance and increasing profitability. He is instrumental in driving the company’s operational efficiency and ensuring the seamless execution of business strategies.

He holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance. He is a Chartered Certified Account UK and a Certified Public Accountant UG and holds a Diploma in Insurance. Early in his career, he gained valuable expertise in management and operational dynamics, finance, and audit practices in an earlier role as Chief Accountant at Jubilee Insurance Company of Uganda.

Out of work, Mohammed enjoys traveling, family time, and reading. He is also actively involved in Charity work. As a notable leader, he focuses on fostering a culture of continuous improvement among teams to drive operational excellence.

Joan Michelle Mpande

Head of People and Culture

Joan is a dedicated HR practitioner with over 10 years of experience across diverse industries including communication, health and fitness, education, and medical insurance.

With a passion for fostering inclusive and productive workplaces, Joan has successfully implemented HR strategies that drive both business growth and employee satisfaction.

Joan holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is a certified HR Business Partner, a certified HR generalist, a certified HR in Business Analytics, and a proud member of the Human Resources Association of Uganda. Her multifaceted background not only enriches her professional insights but also inspires those around her.

Pamon Prossy

Head of Corporate and Public Institutions

Pamon is a dynamic and results-driven professional with 15 years of experience in driving revenue growth. With a focus on innovation and results, Pamon has a successful track record in sales and marketing roles.

She is currently the Head of Corporate and Public Institutions responsible for strategic partnerships and development with a focus on market expansion and innovative solutions.

Prossy is an MBA graduate of Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School UK, a Bachelor of Community Based Rehabilitation, An Associate with the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK, A Chartered Market Analyst with the American Association of Project Management, a Certified coach with John Maxwell Leadership Institute, a certified member with the Insurance Training and Education Trust of Kenya and An Oak seed executive with the Institute of National Transformation with a keen interest in serving above self with Rotary International.

Genevieve Bukonye Olinga

Head of Clinical Services

Genevieve is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in clinical services management, Emergency and Case management. She holds an advanced Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing from Soroti School of Comprehensive Nursing and a diploma in Guidance and Counseling from YMCA Training institute with a proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams, improving patient care standards, and implementing effective claims management strategies.

Currently serving as the Head of Clinical Services at AAR Health Services Uganda (ltd), she excels in overseeing clinical operations, enhancing operational efficiency, fostering continuous improvement and provider management. Previously she held a position as Head of Claims, Emergency & Case Management, Clinical Network and Underwriting.

Genevieve is known for her strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations. She has successfully led initiatives that improved patient satisfaction and cost management strategies.

Godfrey Bwabye

Head of Bancassurance, SME and Retail

Godfrey joined AAR in 2023 as the Head of SME, Retail, and Bancassurance. His career spans over 14 years in senior banking roles including Head of Corporate Banking - at Exim Bank Uganda Limited and Sector head of education at DFCU Bank Limited.

He has a wealth of experience in Sales / Portfolio management and business leadership.

He holds a Master’s in Management studies - Business Administration, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Uganda Management Institute, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from Makerere University.
